Top Spots Worth Going to:
1. Time Again - Age range: 24-30
One of the best spots to go in the summer! The seating is on the street, so everyone’s gathered outside in groups, catching up with friends but also hopping from table to table to mingle. The crowd is artsy, the energy is laid-back, and it’s the perfect place to meet new people.
2. Le Dive - Age range: 24-35
It has a similar vibe to Time Again, with all the tables on the street — perfect for people-watching. The food’s pretty good too, so you can enjoy some light bites and drinks while hanging out with friends. It’s one of the city’s most loved summer spots, with a great atmosphere!
3. Dante’s - Age range: 27-40
An iconic, must-visit spot in the heart of the West Village (and also Greenwich Village), but here's the key: the happy hour deal is only at the Hudson Street location. It feels like a chic café meets an upscale bar—perfect for starting the night with the girls or a group of friends. If you're a martini lover, this deal is unreal: $10 martinis from 3–5 PM daily.
4. Salt Hank’s - Age range: all ages
Go check out Salt Hank’s new spot! If you’re a French dip sandwich lover, this place is for you. The menu’s simple but great - the famous French dip, crispy fries, and tacos (a little random but seriously delicious). You’ll find it right on Bleecker Street, in the heart of the West Village.
Ellie’s Favorite Spots (NEW spots added):
Dinner/Bar Spot:
1. Lucien, East Village
One of my favorite spots in the city for dinner and drinks. The crowd is effortlessly cool, and the whole place feels like a little slice of Europe - everything about it is a vibe. It’s mature yet fun and a great place to start the night. Order the steak frites with a dirty martini — chef’s kiss!
Sports bars:
2. Bar Belly, Lower East Side
Love this spot for drinks with the girls before a night out. They make one of my favorite cocktails (the La Lupe) and it never disappoints. It’s always lively, with the option to sit inside or outside (both are equally fun). Plus, the area has such good energy and sets the perfect vibe to get the night going.
